Going going gone

Exterior shot here of the auction house in Constantinople where Jack is supposed to get the book that will indirectly save his gran. Unfortunately, when the auction takes place, Jack is on the other side of the Bosphorus. Does it all work out in the end? Well, not exactly... you're just going to have to wait and see. Sorry!

  1. Absolutely bloody stunning work, it's ever so slightly reminiscent of Giraud's latter Blueberry work in terms of the richness of the colour and the conviction of the drawing. As I look at these panels it's really like stepping into the story itself.

  2. Particularly the way you've got the bright sunlight in the courtyard behind the building and then that street in the foreground's in shade. Makes it feel like you're just there.

  4. That exterior shot is simply gorgeous. Love the line work, and the colour is so juicy I want to lick it!
